Persuasion
Activity - ‘Pick me to pieces’
Use a plastic overlay sheet and whiteboard marker/texta to identify and annotate features of your chosen advertisement that work to persuade an audience. You may select an advertisement from the supplied resources above, or consult with your teacher to select your own.
Lay your plastic sheet over a printed copy of the image and annotate. Once you have made a series of notes, share your ideas in small groups of 3.

Activity - ‘Sell ME this…’
Part A) Choose any household item/service/concept. Your task is to create an A4 sized poster advertising the item. You may create the poster by hand (draw, paint etc) or use computer programs (Photoshop, illustrator, Microsoft Paint)
Part B) Accompany your work with a critical explanation. In this explanation, you should discuss the visual choices you made & the intended impact.
