Deconstructing an Argument
Before writing our own persuasive pieces we must first know how to identify persuasive technique in the writing of others. The following activities are designed help you identify the conventions that authors use to persuade, across a variety of texts.
Writing an Argument
In order to create an argument we must establish both sides to an argument. This way, we can argue why one point is more significant than another. In order to do this we must research the issue in depth, then apply persuasive conventions to your own writing.
